JIEVARAS JASINSKIS - COMPOSER |
Jievaras Jasinskis is currently one of the most promising composers of the younger generation in LIthuania. A graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, he writes classical and jazz music.
From 2018 to 2021, he was Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Kaunas Big band. In 2020, at the International Music Composition Competition “Future Symphony”, Jievaras took second place. And in 2021, he created a musical project for the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust, Symphony from Jerusalem of the North. |
He has arranged and orchestrated over 1,500 songs for various orchestras and bands. Among them are full concert programmes with such performers as Andrius Mamontovas (arranged the album “Šiaurės naktis. Pusė penkių”, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London), Ten Walls (Marijus Adomaitis), Linas Adomaitis, Ieva Narkutė, Lilas ir Innomine, G&G Sindikatas. Arranged two musicals by Kipras Mašanauskas – “Barbora Radvilaitė” and “Karalius Mindaugas”, Merūnas Vitulskis’ album “Muzika Lietuvai”, as well as many songs for various National TV music projects.
